Dr. Bank is not a preferred provider for any health insurance plans. Clients are required to pay for all sessions at the time of service. Payment options include cash, checks, credit or debit cards, Venmo and Zelle.  Clients may also use HSA or FSA accounts provided by their insurance companies. Some insurance companies offer reimbursement of out-of-network services. We are happy to provide billing statements after each session for clients to obtain reimbursement.  

Dr. Bank believes in getting to know her clients thoroughly and thus sessions are not rushed and are comprehensive. Her initial evaluations are 90 minutes to allow adequate time to obtain clinical information, come up with a treatment plan and allow for questions. Follow up appointments are either 60 or 30 minutes based on need and client preference. Clients are usually able to get appointments within a week’s time as Dr. Bank restricts her practice size to ensure that she is available to meet her client’s needs in a timely manner. The frequency of sessions is determined by need, but Dr. Bank expects to see all clients at least 3 times per year to assess progress, get health updates and to assess ongoing need for care. Clients who are on controlled drugs, such as psychostimulants (Ritalin, Adderall) or benzodiazepines (Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin) are legally mandated by state law to have appointments every 90 days and to be seen in-person at least once per year.
